DISSATISFACTION – II
The soul’s fundamental nature is described as:
“Dissatisfaction”
or
“Lack of Satisfaction”
Because of this, the soul constantly seeks:
Satisfaction
Fulfillment
Yet the teaching suggests that complete fulfillment is never permanently reached.
However, through:
Deep contemplation
Meditation
Understanding truth
A “Paradoxical Satisfaction” begins to arise.
This state is described as:
Nirvana
A condition of:
No suffering
Inner freedom
The teaching suggests:
Satisfaction may be impossible,
but suffering need not remain.
The more deeply one understands the nature of the soul, the more one may move beyond self-inflicted suffering.
This is described as Buddha-hood.
